Tascosa Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas, reached out to request the largest tower that could be shipped fully assembled. In response, a 42′ tower was constructed using 8×8 Douglas fir beams, topped with a 12′ windmill. This impressive structure now overlooks one of the golf course holes and is visible from much of the surrounding development.
Since completing this project, additional golf course windmills have been installed, though none larger than the one in Texas. (After all, everything is bigger in Texas!)
